Tournament organisers are seeking people to provide audio descriptive commentary for blind and partially sighted fans during this year’s World Cup, which will run from 21 November to 18 December. Both Arabic and English speakers are needed for the project, which will provide free training from 19 March until October. Interested applicants must submit a 60-second audio recording of themselves commentating on a football match of their choice, in either Ara bic or English. Candidates will be assessed on their overall aptitude for commentating and the quality of the audio recording.   Ahmed Alkuwari took the first spot in the Auto category of the first round of the Qatar Off-Road Championship will concluded on Saturday and which took place over two days.   Ahmed Al-Muhannadi took the second spot followed by Abdulla Alkhelaifi. The championship, organised by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), saw nine competitors taking part in the event.   The championship consists of six rounds. The first round was a Baja category, while two more rounds will also be Baja category (Third and fourth round). The second round to be held on March 11 and 12 will be Enduro (endurance) while the fifth and last round, the dates which are yet to be announced will also be of Enduro category. The third round will be held on March 23 and 24 and the fourth round on March 26.
