2nd round of Qatar National Sprint 2021: Abdullah maintains his consistent run

Doha: Champion driver Abdullah Al khelaifi clinched his second consecutive Open Class 1 win in the Qatar National Sprint Championship, driving a Westfield Sport at a special track outside the Losail International Circuit on Friday.

In the second round of the popular series, organised by the Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), Al Khelaifi clocked a time of 1 minute 14.594 secs in his first run, and followed up with two rounds of 1:09.087 and 1:06.938, the fastest in his class.

Abdulaziz Al Jabri (Nissan 350Z – O2), Abdulla Al Abassi (Lotus Exige – O3). Mansour Chebli (Renault Clio – P1), Dean Ball (Porsche Boxter 718 – P2) and Mahmoud Al Mahmoud (Porsche GT3 – P3) were the winners of the remaining sprint categories.

 In the opening round of the popular series saw Ali Emadadhi excel in two  categories, winning both Open Class 2 and Production Cars Class 2 events. The others winners in the first round were Abdullah (Westfield Sport - Open Class 1), Abdulla (Lotus Exige - Open Class 3), Henry Kahy (Renault Clio - Production Class 1) and Francesco Fornaciari (Lotus Exige - Production Class 2).
