India’s Pankaj Advani to defend title at Asian Snooker Championship 2021 in Qatar

 

Doha: Defending champion Pankaj Advani of India is one of the 42 players from 19 countries who will be seen in action in the Asian Snooker Championship 2021 which kicks off on Sunday at the Al-Messila, a luxury collection resort in Doha.

Babar Masih of Pakistan, Habib Subah from Bahrain, Tam Yun Fung and Khamis Alobaidli of Qatar are some of the top players along with Advani who will be lying for the top honours in the five-day championship.

The event is the first event for billiards and snooker since March 2020, which means the players will be returning to the table for an international event after a gap of 18 months.

15 referees from 8 countries will officiate the matches
