Aspire Zone Foundation opens registration for events during this year’s Ramadan Sports Festival

 Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has unveiled ** exciting and fun-filled events taking place during this year’s Ramadan Sports Festival (RSF), which begins on the 6th of April in AZF’s indoor and outdoor facilities.

 

A fortnight of activities across AZF facilities

AZF facilities for 8 team competitions at Aspire Park, The Dome and Ladies Sport Hall. Starting on April 6th  till the 17th  from 9:30 pm to 12:00 am, the events are as follows:

  • Beach Volleyball Competition for men: 6 -10 April, Beach volleyball court
  • Football Competition for Men: 9 – 13 April, Pitch 10
  • Basketball Competition for Men: 12-17 April, Aspire Dome, Multi-purpose Hall
  • Football 4x4 Competition for men :13 -17 April, Aspire football Public courts

Ladies competitions in cooperation with Sports Lab Academy

  • Basketball Competition for women: 6 -15 April, Ladies sport hall
  • Volleyball Competition for women: 6-13 April, Ladies sport hall
  • Football Competition for women: 10-15 April, Ladies sport hall

Special Needs competition in cooperation with Qatar Paralympic Committee

  • Special Needs Table Tennis Competition 11 April, Aspire Dome, Multi-purpose Hall 1

  WANG CHUQIN DEFENDS WTT FINALS TITLE IN DOHA Wang Chuqin has clinched victory at WTT Finals Men Doha 2023, defending his Men's Singles title in style. The World No.2 lifted the trophy following a decisive 4-0 (11-8, 11-9, 12-10, 11-7) win against top seed and World No.1 Fan Zhendong at the Lusail Sports Arena in Qatar Building on his success at Xinxiang 2022, Wang aimed to secure another Men's Singles title at the season-ending event. QATAR’S NASSER SALEH AL-ATTIYAH HEADS FIELD FOR MERC FINALE IN OMAN

  MUSCAT (OMAN): Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah, the winner of a record-breaking 17 FIA Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) titles, tops the entry for the Oman Rally Sohar International 2021.
