Nuvem-based Tiatrist, Comedian and Mimicry Artist Doutor Cyril, affected by a rare disease needs your help

  Nuvem-based Cyril Andrade is well known for sports fans, especially for those who have been attending football matches at the Nehru Stadium Fatorda, as a ‘doutor’ who used to run on to the play field once signaled by the referee, his duty was to attend to the injured player and administer first aid.

 Trained as he was and till then attached to the Health Department and attached to Urban Health Centre in Margao, Cyril did duty for over thousand matches at Fatorda, international, national, and local league matches.

 Besides his duty on the play field and his job, two other things kept him busy. Acting and social service.

 Going by his helpful nature, Cyril felicitated many a school student from his village for topping in the SSC examinations and is part of many social and cultural clubs of the village.

That was not all, Cyril reached out to the needy when they him the most in various ways.

Here is one message his received in his inbox recently.

“I heard about you. You have helped lot of people. God bless you and your fly,” read one message.

 Another message read: “Your dedication and commitment to helping others are truly admirable, and I wanted to express my appreciation to you, you always go above and beyond, and I am grateful for your kindness to others. Your assistance was a lifesaver. - Your help came at just the right time, and I am grateful for your quick thinking and willingness to lend a hand. Congratulations Cyril, Mighty God bless you and keep you in good health.”

 Turn to the present the man who helped at least a thousand of SSC students with awards and who is known for his social work in his village and in the surrounding villages’ is struggling and fighting his own battle from his hospital bed.

He now needs in terms of valuable monetary contribution to help him to take care of his medical treatment.

 

 AN APPEAL

Dearest Goan brothers and sisters,

 Goans all over the world are known to be hospitable and compassionate and helpful towards others.

We have always extended our help to anyone in need by giving 'ful nam paklli'.

Moreover, you have always responded to calls for help made by Tiatrists.

With a heavy heart, it pains to inform one and all that our dear fellow Tiatrist, well known Comedian and Mimicry Artist Doutor Cyril, has been a victim of a dreaded disease. He has been hospitalised for treatment at the Manipal Hospital at Dona Paula, where treatment costs are sky high.

Sadly, his financial status is not sufficient to meet these unforeseen expenses.

As such, I, on behalf of Doutor Cyril and his family, humbly appeal to please help them at this critical stage of life. Your 'ful nam paklli' will be highly appreciated with gratitude. The Bible says 'God loves a cheerful giver', and rest assured that The Almighty will bless you all for this noble deed.
