The event is organized by Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation under the supervision of the International Motorcycle Federation (FIM). Originally scheduled in the FIM calendar for the start of April, Qatar’s inaugural FIM Bajas Cup counting round will run over a compact route laid on by the QMMF. Competitors will face three stages and 504.24 competitive kilometres in a route of 872.44km. MUSCAT (OMAN): Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah, the winner of a record-breaking 17 FIA Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) titles, tops the entry for the Oman Rally Sohar International 2021. The final round of the regional series takes place next weekend (December 2 nd -4 th ). The six-time winner of the rally in Oman teams up with regular French co-driver Matthieu Baumel (a two-time winner) before heading off to Saudi Arabia to try and add the 2021 FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies title to the 17 th regional crown he earned in an Autotek Motorsport-run Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 when the fifth round of the series in Kuwait was cancelled earlier this month.
